Project Miere is a collaborative music group created by Kerepeti Paraone and Savanah Tukariri. The duo are 3rd generation kaihaka of Te Ahikaaroa Kapa Haka who weave their love of haka and all things te ao māori into music, dance and film here in Te Waipounamu.
‘Project Miere’ is named after their eldest child, Miere, as a reminder of the importance of whakapapa and how our knowledge can be passed down through waiata."
